At The Bath Practice we are undertaking rigorous anti-Covid measures on a regular basis. These include:
*The wearing of masks by all staff (and patients unless medically exempt).
*The use of 70% alcohol based sanitiser gel on entry and leaving by all staff and patients, available on reception and in all clinic rooms.
*The wearing of PPE as regulated for each practitioner by their professional bodies, for instance disposable single use gloves and apron for each patient, as well as a medical grade llR mask for Alison Temple-Smith (osteopath).
*A thorough cleaning routine of the clinic rooms between patients with anti-viral sprays.
*regular cleaning with anti-viral sprays of all areas that patients have come in contact with.
*Social distancing in communal areas such as the waiting room, and a Perspex screen on the reception desk.
*Booked appointments only, with pre-appointment Covid questions.
*A regular throughput of air (from open windows and garden door) in all rooms and communal area.
*Removal of all cloth covers on plinths etc, the use of medical wipeable pillows, and the replacement of all cloth covered chairs chairs with plastic easily cleanable chairs.
“I feel relaxed and confident when attending my appointments with Alison in spite of the Coronavirus. There has always been a security entry system but this is now accompanied by a contactless sanitising gel unit at reception and an NHS QR premises check in, for me to scan. Everyone wears masks and Alison wears gloves when providing treatment. This is completed by Alison’s meticulous sanitising of couch, chairs, door handles etc between clients. Alison truly complies with safety rules and protects her clients. Thanks Alison”
